The Creative Team

Cathie - Team Coordinator

My card making started on one fateful day 10 years ago when my mother in-law took me to my first craft and quilt fair. I was introduced to stamping with pigment inks and embossing powder and as they say - the rest is history. I live in Adelaide, Australia with my very understanding husband \ card creative director and two very active munchkins 7 and 4 years. With my introduction to blog land a year ago the addiction is now complete. With the added duties of creative team member and and now team leader I have learnt so much which has only enhanced my card making. My name is Sherry Gibson. I am a Kentucky native living in Washington with my wonderfully understanding husband, who is also my go to guy with creative questions and directions. I am a mother and grandmother. I have enjoyed all types of arts and crafts ever since I can remember - painting, needlework, scrapbooking, crocheting, drawing and colouring. I have found that I love creating cards and have recently started working with mixed media. I am so very excited to be a part of Morgan's Creative Team! My name is Judy VanZandt. I am a Louisiana native living in Colorado where my husband of 32 years and I have raised a son and daughter. I started crafting many years ago creating silk flower bouquets, arrangements, wreaths etc. and moved on to scrapbooking later. The scrapbooking turned into card making which sort of became an obsession and therefore my primary craft. Recently after stepping down from full time employment, I started playing around with mixed media projects and now enjoy creating canvases, altered notebooks/journals and wooden letters in addition to my cards. I currently serve on several design teams and thoroughly enjoy working with and being inspired by other crafters from all over the world. My name is Faith Anderson and I live in Wales in the UK. I also very excited to be part of Morgans Creative Team. I have a fan for a long time and look forward to using more of these fabulous images. I'm retired, and have been married for 50 years to a wonderful man and have a great son. My most loved hobby is digital card making; that is making hybrid cards started and coloured in Photoshop, which after a lot of years using it I still have lots to learn. I'm not sure if I have a particular style but I love learning new digital techniques and sharing them on my blog. I hope you will like what I do..If you would like to see more of my work head over to my blog at Daffodil Cards

I had never crafted until my sons were 8,10 and 12 years old. I discovered ceramics with a neighbor at this time and proceeded to create and paint green ware ceramics and marketed them on a small scale to flower shops in my local area. Lots of dust and a downward swing in the economy lessened my interest overall. I then wanted a craft that took up less space, so I turned to beading. I still dabble in beading now and then but most of my free time is taken up with creating paper projects, especially cards. I have had an off and on love of paper and stamps with the oldest stamp in my collection dating back to 1995, but it wasn't until 5 years ago that I really became an avid card maker. I also discovered in this time that I also love coloring; I love how you can be completely engrossed in the task at hand, seeing and hearing nothing but the project you are working on. Evie has been crafting since she was a teenager and with a fondness for learning; she would try her hand at any craft and/or technique. When she is not crafting she is spending her time playing her flute and piccolo in her local community bands. She also helps out by  makes greeting cards to donate to various organisations including those she has performed for. When Evie isn't busy making music or cards she can be seen chasing after her four year old son and then running from him! My name is Gale  and I live in Texas in the USA. I have always been crafty and being retired gives me plenty of time for my hobby of coloring and making cards. I started out with sewing, then embroidery, cross stitch and jewelry making. My sister got me into scrapbooking and then I started stamping and making cards a few years ago. I enjoy using digital stamps and love to bring them alive with my Copic markers. I have my Copic certifications, but I am now working on learning to colour with my Prismacolor pencils, there is always something more to learn. if you would like to see more of more work head over to my blog at Gale's Stamping Corner.

My name is Edwina Brown and I was born in Kentucky USA, although now I live in New Jersey USA. I am the oldest child with three brothers who have made my life very interesting. I have loved crafts all my life from the time I picked up by first box of crayons. I started creating with oil painting and then onto watercolour and pastels.  I first started scrapbooking in 2003, I then moved on to stamping in 2005 and in 2009 I started colouring digital stamps with coloured pencils. I then saw a video of someone colouring with copic markers which then led me to not only copics but digital stamps. When I started using copics I used the knowledge I had gaining previously through painting to achieve light and shadows. I like to fussy cut my digital stamps like I was taught to so it is similar to removing the white background on a canvas. I am now addicted to making cards.
